PowerSchool to acquire SchoolMessenger for $300m

PowerSchool, the NYSE-listed US provider of cloud based software for K-12 education, has acquired SchoolMessenger, a provider of communication solutions to the US K-12 school market, from its parent company West Technology Group for $300m in cash.
