Kaplan expects impact of COVID-19 on business to continue for the remainder of 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic adversely impacted Kaplan’s operating results in the first quarter of 2020. Government-imposed travel restrictions and school closures, together with licensing bodies postponing or cancelling scheduled examinations, resulted in Kaplan posting an operating income down 82% to $4.7m in the three months ended 31 March 2020.
