ASDAN, the qualifications body for personal and social skills led by CEO Marius Franks, has reported a 10% fall in revenue to £6.34m (2010: £7.03m restated) for the year ended 31 August 2011 and an operating loss of £407k (2010: £630k surplus restated).

Cambridge Assessment Group (CAG) has reported a 3.2% increase in revenue to £274m (2010: £265m) for the year ended 31 July 2011 according to the recently published accounts of the University of Cambridge.
SQA reports 3% increase in exam fee income

The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) has reported a 3% increase in income from examination fees to £38.3m (2010: £37.2m) for the year ended 31 March 2011 according to the organisation’s latest Annual Report and Accounts.
Mouchel Consortium awarded JCQ contract

The Joint Council of Qualifications (JCQ) which represents the seven largest providers of qualifications in the UK - AQA, City & Guilds, CCEA, Edexcel, OCR, SQA and WJEC - has awarded Mouchel and its partner 2e2 a new 12-month contract to continue to provide a web service that allows individuals with special educational needs access to school exams.
Pearson to develop PISA assessment for OECD

Questionmark Computing, the assessment technology company, has reported an operating profit of £46k on revenue of £5.60m for the eight months to 31 December 2010 according to accounts filed last month at Companies House.

Operating profits up 17% at Granada Learning

Granada Learning Group (GL), the Veronis Suhler Stevenson (VSS) owned publisher of educational assessment and tests, has reported an operating profit up 17% to £2.7m (2009: £2.3m) for the year ended 31 December 2010 on revenue also up 17% to £18.4m (2009: £15.7m).
