Weld North LLC, the partnership between KKR and former Kaplan CEO, Jonathan Grayer, has made its first investment, acquiring e-learning company e2020 Inc for an undisclosed sum. Founded in 1998, e2020 provides e-learning technology to middle and high schools in the US. e2020’s courses are provided through a software-as-a-service model and their courseware features video-based instruction.
