US company, K12 Inc, the acquisitive providers of proprietary curriculum and online school programmes for K12 students has acquired American Education Corporation (AEC), a provider of research-based core curriculum teaching software for K12 and adult learners that aims to increase student performance and narrow achievement gaps.
