Education Management LLC – one of the largest providers of post-secondary education in the US – has announced a 25.8% increase in revenues in the third quarter ending 31 March 2008 to $461.2m with enrolments up 18.3% to 95.600. As with Kaplan Higher Education, the private student loan market is not expected to have an impact on earnings in the current fiscal year ending 30 June.

Also like Kaplan, student enrolments onto fully online programmes have increased significantly in the 12 months to April 2008, up 72.4% to 15,800.
