US-based Blackboard has recorded its first profit. Total revenues for the year ending 31 December 2007 hit $239m, an increase of 31% on 2006. Profit before tax was $20.4m for the full year compared to a net loss of $15.3m in the same period last year. The company forecasts revenues of between $306m and $314m in 2008.
