French publisher Editis has made a takeover offer for multimedia publisher Paraschool. While the deal, Editis’ third this year, is subject to regulatory approval, it will help to reinforce their position as France’s second largest publisher. Paraschool has 25 employees and a turnover of €3m, a small sum compared to Editis’ €760m turnover.

So far this year Editis has been on an acquisition spree, buying Belgian educational publisher De Boeck and French guidebook and children’s publisher Editions Gruund.
