Does Teacher’s TV have a New Labour bias and does it matter? So far the ‘stars’ from New Labour’s firmament include the former DfES\Secretaries of State Baroness Morris and David Blunkett; Clare Short; Tony Benn; Lord Roy Hattersley; David Miliband MP; Jacqui Smith MP; Trevor Phillips; the late Ted Wragg; David Hart, General Secretary NAHT; Baroness Shirley Williams (originally Labour and later a Lib Dem); Cherie Booth QC; her 10 Downing Street former assistant/enforcer and Guardian columnist Fiona Millar, and last and possibly least auspiciously, lifestyle guru Carol Caplin.

The best the Conservatives have been able to muster is David Willetts, Boris Johnson and Nick Gibb. We suspect Boris’s 15 minutes of fame on TTV may have been assured if he had ditched reminiscing about Eton and instead given a PHSE-related sex education lecture (this would have fitted in perfectly with TTV’s current Sex Education Week). To try and create the illusion of impartiality, Simon Hughes of the Liberal Democrats and George Galloway of Respect have also been interviewed.
