Sony’s e-reader sells out

Sony are the first firm to release one of the new generation of e-readers that use e-paper (Sony PRS-500). When we wrote about these in May we were unsure about the level of consumer demand, but this has been so great that stocks sold out almost immediately. Sony now says that new orders won’t ship before the beginning of December.
