South African publisher to launch in UK

Small South African educational publisher Educat looks set to launch in the UK market after exhibiting at this year’s London Book Fair.
Educat focus on the pre-school through kindergarten market and produce a range of books and ancillary learning materials. Recently they advertised in The Guardian for a UK sales representative to be based in the South West. Unfortunately, the advertisement showed Educat’s lack of experience in the UK when they stipulated candidates must be aged between 23 and 35. While the advertisement itself might not have breached the Employment Equality (Age) Regulations, it will by the time any interviews take place in October.
