Andrew Bethall has replaced Nigel Dacre as the Chief Executive at Teacher’s TV. Previously the Director of Programming, he will now see the channel through the last two years of its pilot.
Nigel Dacre has now moved to Ten Alps Internet and Digital TV, a new venture that will focus on the public sector content market. According to Ten Alps Chief Executive, Alex Connock, ‘Public Sector specialist publishing is big business’. Perhaps not such a huge revelation when you consider that the contract for Teacher’s TV was £60m. This does not mean Nigel Dacre is leaving Teacher’s TV totally, as he will stay on as a non-Executive Director of Education Digital.
