The DfES’s 2006 annual report discloses that Sir Paul Judge, Chair of Teacher’s TV, is the highest paid board member of all the DfES’s 14 Non-Departmental Public Bodies. Last year Sir Paul received £55K, £10K more than the next most expensive appointee Margaret Salmon, who chairs the much larger Sector Skills Development Agency. This seems disproportionate given that Teacher’s TV’s three-year budget is just £20m while the LCS’s ran to £227.6m last year.
