A consortia of UK universities have announced a four-year £150m framework agreement to buy their computers from Dell, NEC, Viglen, RM, Compusys and Stone Computers.
Negotiated by the London Universities Purchasing Consortium, this arrangement replaces a similar one which ran until 2001. One exception to this is a separate purchasing agreement that universities already have with Apple.
