Richard Bowker has barely had time to remember where his office at Partnerships for Schools is before he was being touted as the man most likely to replace Bob Kiley as London’s Transport Commissioner. With so many problems facing BSF, if he decides to swap jobs, it might be a smart move politically and financially. Unfortunately, while the salary of London’s Transport Czar is light years ahead of P4S, he still won’t be getting the keys to Bob Kiley’s Belgravia mansion as Ken Livingstone plans to sell it when Bob’s contract expires.
