VT buy again

VT has acquired another new education business with its £12m purchase of Touchstone Learning and Skills Ltd. Only last month we reported VT’s purchase of the Hotel Catering and Training Company. Touchstone, who provide work-based learning in the retail sector, extends VT’s existing capabilities in the hospitality, leisure, engineering and care sectors. Education is now a £100m segment for VT with Group Chief Executive Paul Lester commenting that, ‘vocational training represents nearly 50% of this revenue’.
