Capita boss steps down

The first casualty of the Loans for Lordships controversy was the resignation of Specialist Schools and Academies Trust advisor Des Smith. Now Rod Aldridge, who leads Capita has quit, because news of his £1m personal loan to the Labour party was damaging Capita’s reputation with allegations that their success in winning major government contracts was linked to his support of the Labour party.
