Listed education company Nord Anglia have announced that they will be developing a 1200-place boarding school within South Korea’s Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ). The school will follow the UK curriculum but will not be the only international school within the IFEZ with the New 2100-place, Songdo City International School due to open in early 2008. This US$160m school has been set up as a not-for-profit entity by US-based International School Services in collaboration with the Milton Academy of Boston.

Nord Anglia’s expansion in Korea seems closely linked to their activities in China where they now have two schools with the Purdong campus (in Shanghai) expected to have 1400 students by 2007.
