A new company, King’s Business Solutions (KBS), which provides war games simulations and consultancy, has been spun out of King’s College London War Studies Group. Rather than being a fixed game related to a specific historical scenario, KBC offers simulation war games where clients play in an environment built and managed by KBC’s experts. Outcomes of each simulation are designed to assess individual players and also their team’s decision-making processes by evaluating their responses to critical events within the war game.

One of the backers of KBS is the IP Group plc, the AIM-listed company who work with partner universities to commercialise intellectual property assets. The IP Group are currently recruiting a CEO for KBC, one of 38 companies they have invested in since 2001.
